David Herbert Lawrence Kitapları

Madenci bir ailenin çocuğudur. 1919'da önce İtalya, sonra Seylan ve Avustralya'ya gitti. 1922'de New Mexico'ya yerleşti. Ancak 1925'te sağlık nedeniyle İtalya'ya döndü. Klasik gerçekçilik ile modernizm arasında bir köprü görevi yapmıştır. İlk şiirleri 1909'da, ilk romanı 1911'de, ilk hikâye kitabı ise 1914'te yayımlandı. Yazarlık kariyeri boyunca yazdığı sekiz oyundan hiç biri yaşarken yayınlanmadı.
